In September, MBC Tysons adults will travel to serve alongside a trusted partner church located in a mega-city in this majority Muslim country in Central Asia! In a country where less than 1% of the population claims to be Christian, this partner church is a beacon of truth. The team will do various things such help host a much-needed elder retreat for the church elders and their families! This retreat will allow these faithful leaders a chance to rest, recharge, and refocus the team provides childcare and logistical support.The team will also engage in local ministry, build relationships and fellowship with the church, as well as share the gospel as opportunities arise. This is an engagement trip and encouragement trip, meaning our team will be there to help further the goals of the worker(s) on the ground by engaging with their community in evangelism or church in discipleship while encouraging them in these tasks! Please consider being a part of this important work through your prayers or by donating to the trip fund.PLEASE PRAY:​​That God would protect the team and keep them safe.That God would help the team encourage church leadership as they serve them at the retreat.That God would allow this church to be a resource to equip and strengthen other churches in the region.That God give the team opportunities to share the gospel with those they meet. Donate to this trip below. All contributions for Global Outreach short-term mission teams are tax deductible (to the extent allowed by the law) and therefore nonrefundable. The donor acknowledges and releases control of how their contribution will be utilized for the team. However, if the team is successful in raising their financial goal, all excess funds will be applied to either the needs directly related to the ministry of this trip or to fund additional mission needs within the Global Outreach ministry. In the unlikely event that a trip is cancelled, funds raised by the team will help cover any cancellation costs
