Event Details

This 10-week course equips engaged couples with biblical principles and skills to build a marriage that is centered on Christ and lasts a lifetime. During the cohort, you are paired with a coach couple who will mentor and guide you through the course and help prepare you for your new life together. You may also have an opportunity to interact with 1-2 other engaged couples assigned to your coach couple. Each week, couples participate in a combination of teaching from a MBC pastor or leader via video, followed by a time of discussion facilitated by your coach couple. Preparing for Marriage participants not only learn God's plans for marriage, but also gain lasting friendships and loving members for the road ahead. Preparing for Marriage course is primarily for engaged couples. Participants must be members or regular attendees of McLean Bible Church - Tysons. The first meeting on Sept 13th and the last meeting on Nov 20th are held in-person at MBC-Tysons for the entire 2-hours. For all other meetings, the location and time to meet are to be decided by the coach and engaged couples. You may attend any PFM course that is held prior to your wedding, and we encourage couples to take the PFM as early in the engagement as possible.
