Each year, Kid’s Quest has the privilege of presenting every 2nd grader with a Bible. This year, on Sunday, November 8, a short program beginning at 4:00pm will provide 2nd graders the opportunity to receive their bible and recite their memory verse, as well as engage in live worship and enjoy a game with their fellow 2nd graders.
We are excited to offer this in-person event for 2nd graders and their families, but please note we will be observing MBC’s current COVID-19 protocols to help keep us all safe. This includes temperature checks upon arrival, as well as wearing a face covering and observing social distancing at all times in the building. The 2nd Grade Bible Presentation will take place in the auditorium, and families will be seated in a socially distanced manner.
If your family is more comfortable staying at home, a live stream of the 2nd Grade Bible Presentation will be available and there will be a date for your 2nd grader to come to the church and receive their Bible. Please watch for an email sent to all 2nd grade parents the week before the 2nd Grade Bible Presentation for more information.
REGISTRATIONFor all families who wish to join us in-person, advanced registration is required. Please register using your 2nd grader’s name and be sure to list the total number of people from your family who will be attending with you.
MEMORY VERSEPlease have your child practice reciting Joshua 1:8-9, “This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to meditate on it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do. Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
